Croatian business angels network, Ministry of entrepreneurship and crafts and HAMAG-BICRO organized second CRANEbrunch, an event which gathers all the relevant stakeholders in order to discuss innovation ecosystem in Croatia.

On behalf of SMART INNO project, Katarina Kostelić and Kristina Hlavati from Juraj Dobrila University of Pula were present and participated in the panel “How to improve investing climate in Croatia”.

The event was also supported by representatives of Prime Minister Office, economy advisor of Croatian President, members of EBAN (European Business Angels Network) and many other entrepreneurs and investors.

Davorin Štetner (CRANE President) welcomed all the participants and presented CRANE strategic goals for the following period. Maja Pokrovac from the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Crafts presented the government programs for SMEs. Darko Liović from HAMAG-BICRO board presented opportunities for business angels and startups provided by HAMAG- BICRO.

Paulo Andrez, president emeritus of European Business Angels Network (EBAN) also was present, who is also member of Portuguese Business Angels Federation and advisor of many European governments for early-phase investing in start-ups.

Networking among all the relevant stakeholders in Croatian innovation ecosystem resulted in promoting SMART INNO Adriatic Ionian Business Angels Network, and inviting CRANE participants to Smart Inno Project Transnational Meeting in Corfù (Greece).
