The final event of INCO-NET project ( took place on the 19th of February at the Friuli Innovazione technology park in Udine (Italy).

The event, titled “Networking for future: networking tools for developing innovative companies”, analyzed communication aspects in the approach with new partners or new customers with a totally original and unusual format. About fifty professionals and entrepreneurs coming from Friuli Venezia Giulia, Veneto and Carinthia regions took part in the two creative practical sessions proposed by Mr Mike Van Der Vijver. Mr Mike Van Der Vijver is a trainer with an  international experience in networking and meeting design training. “Fun” has been the keyword of the event, that made all participants interact, in English language, according to innovative schemes: all participants were stimulated to interpersonal communication and interaction, two strategic elements for all entrepreneurs. “Networking has a great importance for the development of companies” – Mr Mike Van Der Vijver commented – “even if it’s difficult for a startupper to find out time and resources to do it. Intermediary organizations play a fundamental role in this sense”.

The event has officially closed INCO-NET project, that during the past 3 years has implemented numerous initiatives aimed at matchmaking companies and startups, technology parks, researchers and students of Friuli Venezia Giulia, Veneto and Carinthia regions.

INCO-NET comes to an end by opening new paths of collaboration between Italy and Austria: via the network set up by this project, in May 2014 Friuli Innovazione and other strategic partners of Carinthia region and Slovenia signed a memorandum for the setting up of the first Trilateral Startup Ecosystem, that will promote the setting up of joint services and initiatives targeted to startups in the trilateral/transnational region.
