INNOVATION IN TRADITIONAL PRODUCTION – A PATH FOR BRANDING TRADITIONAL PRODUCTS OF ZLATIBOR COUNTY, Set 28 - Oct 2, 2015

Producers of dry cured meat products and dairy sector of the Zlatibor County will have the opportunity to visit Italian Friuli Venezia Gulia Region and be introduced with the branding process of prosciutto San Daniele and Montasio cheese. The main objective of the study tour is to show how they became the world wide recognized products.

Zlatibor RDA organizes this study tour for producers in the frame of SMART INNO pilot action, in order to introduce them with the best EU practice and encourage them to continue valorization and branding of the Zlatibor County traditional products. 30 local producers from Uzice and Cajetina will have meeting and workshops with relevant actors form Agro food park San Daniele, who will present them their experience and problems they were facing with during protection and branding of San Daniele products. Integration and traditional products in tourism offer is also one of important topics to be elaborated during this study tour.

Accordingly, participants of the study tour are local authorities and decision makers from Uzice and Cajetina, who will have meetings with relevant regional and local authorities of Friuli Venezia Gulia region. That seems to be of crucial importance for future economic and cultural networking of Zlatibor County with Italian partners.

This study tour will be realized from 28th September till 2nd October, 2015.
