Teaching and coaching for young entrepreneurs at University of Pula
Second cycle of educational program has started!

Within working package five, Juraj Dobrila University of Pula (FB 13) has started the second cycle of Smart Inno pilot action - educational program “Catalogue of Entrepreneurial Ideas” in thematic group “Entrepreneurs, SME & Innovation”.

The main goal of this program is to encourage entrepreneurial spirit and creativity among young population, and enhance entrepreneurship through self-employment and strengthening competences. Robert Zenzerović, Faculty Vice – Dean and Smart Inno Project Manager, has opened the program with welcome speech and invited participants to entrepreneurial approach and perspective in personal and professional development.

Program gathered 50 participants from Pula high schools and students from Faculty of Economics and tourism “dr. Mijo Mirković”. First workshops aim was to develop entrepreneurial idea by using theoretical approach and practical part with creative thinking techniques, implemented by Katarina Kostelić.

Educational cycle consists of three workshops, which last for three school/academic hours. Second workshop includes elaborating entrepreneurial idea with previous determination of feasibility and cost-effectiveness. The third workshops focus is on presentation and communication skills, so called – “soft-skills” for young entrepreneurs.

Participants will work on their ideas in teams, and will also be given the opportunity for team consultations, when needed in order to develop business plans. Participants who fulfill all the obligations, will receive Confirmation of participation. All business plans will be published in publication “Catalogue of Entrepreneurial Ideas”, and the best team will be rewarded.
